SECTION B (54 Marks).
Answer all questions in this section.

3. Having well covered about people’s occupation, construct one sentence indicating what was done in the past by each person provided in (i) – (vi). For example: A teacher taught the students yesterday.
(i) A doctor
(ii) A barber
(iii) An ambass
(iv) A butcher
(v) A clerk
(vi) A farmer

4. Imagine you attended the hospital after being seriously sick last week and you met with a doctor for consultation. How will you report to your friend the following conversation between you and the doctor? (For each item begin: The doctor )
i. “What is your name and how old are you?” The doctor asked me.
ii. “Where do you live and with whom are you living?” The doctor asked me
iii. “What are you suffering from?” The doctor inquired me.
iv. “Have you experienced coughing, vomiting or diarrhea right from the start of yesterday until today?” The doctor wanted to know.
v. “Go to the laboratory for Urine, Malaria and Typhoid tests.” The doctor told me.
vi. “Take this medicine three times per day because the tests show that you have Malaria and contaminated urine.” The doctor instructed me.

5. Suppose you have witnessed funeral of your neighbour after being knocked by the car where you heard some of the words. Use the following words to construct a sentence to describe the event.

(ii) Mortuary
(iii) Mourners
(iv) Orphans
(v) Undertaker
(vi) Condolences

7. Your friend came late to the class when he found that the teacher had already taught you the concept of passive voice. Help him to passivize the following sentences.
(i) I play football every evening.
(ii) They are eating mangoes now.
(iii) I shall have written a letter tomorrow.
(iv) Did Sara call me last night?
(v) Let us read the story.
(vi) My father bought me a diary yesterday.
8. Imagine that you have been employed in AZAM TV for about a year now and you are getting hardships. Write a letter to your brother explaining about the challenges you are going through and ask him to secure another job for you elsewhere. Sign your name as Heri Furaha.
