The exam assesses understanding of governance, national development, and responsible citizenship.

It also examines African resistance movements like Majimaji, Hehe, and Nandi wars, the structure and features of the colonial economy, labour systems, and agricultural production. The assessment tests understanding of historical events, causes and effects of colonialism, and its long-term impacts on African societies.

Mtihani huu unajumuisha sarufi, lugha, na fasihi kwa kiwango cha juu. Inashughulikia ngeli za nomino, viambishi, aina za tungo, vishazi, na kirai. Pia inachambua asili ya Kiswahili, lahaja zake, na jinsi biashara na utawala zilivyochangia ukuaji wa lugha hiyo. Sehemu ya fasihi inajumuisha hakiki ya riwaya, tamthiliya, hadithi fupi, vipengele vya fani kama vile wahusika, mandhari, dhamira, na tamathali za semi. This exam covers forces, motion, light, heat, and gases. It includes scalar and vector quantities, Newton’s laws of motion, friction, and resultant forces. It also examines light phenomena such as reflection, refraction, dispersion, and optical instruments like microscopes and lenses. Thermal physics includes thermal expansion, kinetic theory of matter, and gas laws. The assessment tests understanding of physical laws, calculations, and explanation of natural and technological applications.
